CURRENT APPOINTMENT
I am currently working at Fortis Memorial Research Institute at Gurgaon as a Senior Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics. Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon, is a multi-super specialty, quaternary care hospital with an enviable international faculty, reputed clinicians, including super-sub-specialists and speciality nurses, supported by cutting-edge technology. A premium, referral hospital, it endeavours to be the 'Mecca of Healthcare' for Asia Pacific and beyond. Set on a spacious 11-acre campus with 1000 beds, this 'Next Generation Hospital' is built on the foundation of 'Trust' and rests on the four strong pillars Talent, Technology, Infrastructure and Service
I head an independent unit and offer cutting edge surgeries in the form of Gender specific knee replacements as well Ceramic Knee and hip replacements for the very young and active individuals requiring the joint replacement. Ceramics joints are biocompatible which can be done in patients with metal allergy and they last twice as long as a regular implant. The hip and knee replacements are undertaken using MIS(minimally invasive) techniques which have a shorter rehab time along with a more cosmetic scar.
In addition I undertake knee and ankle arthroscopies. I perform meniscal repairs and excisions along with ACL reconstructions in the knee. I offer Chondroplasty to take care of cartilage injuries in young adults. Sports injuries and ligament repairs of shoulder, knee and ankle are done routinely.
Trauma is managed with the best available implants along with the latest techniques.
