About viHumans Database

viHumans database consists of 1,116 viral strains that affect Homo sapiens as hosts. It consist of 5,930 reviewed and 1,110,089 unreviewed viral proteins falling under this category. The database consists of 5840 protein structures (592 experimentally known viral protein structures and 5248 viral proteins have been modelled via I-Tasser and RaptorX). The functional annotation of 5929 viral proteins is provided in the database. The information about active sites for 5829 viral proteins and ligands that have binding potential for 5037 viral proteins is also provided (experimental as well as predicted).
